I love this thing. It’s especially great for recipes that call for pepper as you can get a good amount with just a few turns. Whenever we go to a steak house the kids note that my grinder is bigger, which is funny.

This pepper grinder works very well! My boyfriend wanted a large pepper grinder and this is perfect. It is definitely pretty tall, but not outrageous. It is very sturdy and seems good quality! We have had it fall off the counter and still intact!

I got this for a friend and she raves about it. It grinds well and you can adjust how fine you want the ground to be.

I am one of those who only writes a review when I am either super-pleased or super-displeased with a product. In this case it's super-pleased!Pepper mills have been a big source of frustration for me up until now. I bought a supposed 'Rolls Royce' grade 16" mill for ~$99 - the renowned brand that starts with a 'P'. The peppercorns jammed up in it constantly (and yes, the diameter of the peppercorns were in compliance with the manufacturer’s 'specs'; I measured a sampling of them with a digital veneer caliper!). Additionally, the most course setting wasn't course enough (at least for me) and the volume of output was really low (when it produced at all), so I spent way more time grinding to obtain the amount I wanted than should have been necessary.In sharp contrast, this new mill does everything it is supposed to do - and does it very well!I have read others' reviews and noticed that a few were unhappy with the overall durability (wearing out, broken parts, etc.). Well, for the price, I'm good with replacing it every couple of years if need be.(PS The 'P' pepper mill went to Goodwill!)

I could not be More Pleased with my Purchase! This is precisely what I was looking for and it works as well as I'd hoped for the Price. This Tall/Oversized Grinder looks Spectacular, Towering over the other items on the kitchen counter, and it works Smooth and Efficiently - very little 'Grinding' action required to nicely Grind the peppercorns and Deliver Fresh Ground Pepper as needed. It also did not need a Huge Quantity of Whole Peppercorns to Fill (in fact it took much Less than expected) If there are any reviews (past or present) that are not satisfied with the Quality of this item for the Price then they either received a faulty one or their expectations are Way too high for $22 Delivered! (Of Course there are Much More Expensive versions available that may be superior to this If you have the Need/Desire to have anything more than what is needed for typical Home Use) A+++
