It is a bolt. I turned it clockwise and it tightened. It held down the top of my JK. Five stars.

I purchased my hardtop used and were missing these bolts for the front of the main top where it connects to the freedom panels. It wasn’t a big issue not having them, but I did notice the top move slightly at highway speed in the wind, so I purchased these bolts to help hold it in place and simply tightened them up and I’m good to go. Would buy again.

I ordered 2 screws to use on my Jeep Wrangler JKU hard top, above the driver and passenger side. One screw worked perfectly, the other one was previously used and stripped. Just ordered another.
