It was hard getting the gasket to fit over the heater core and then getting the heater box to fit. I didn’t have to cut like others mentioned but I did fight it. Overall it’s making a good seal and I’m happy.

Works well. Crushes into place when you tighten down the air box.

This was way too thick for my 1973 AMC Javelin, but it wasn't listed for it and a bread knife made short work of it. Hole spacing was correct and that's what really matters. Did have to drill the holes out a little too, but still only 5 minutes, start to finish.

Good material. The holes are tight so you will have to wide them in order to insert the hoses

Looked good and fit the new heater core pipes. But when I went to reinstall was too thick, and too firm to compress. Could not get mounting bolts to poke trough the fire wall. Had to take back out and use the old one. Think it was just too firm and would not compress.

Used for a motor replacement. Although the gasket was made for a 2 1/2 inch motor it will fit the new 3†replacement motor. Just be patient when slipping it over the motor.

This is advertised by everyone saying it will work on a 1974 Jeep CJ5. The holes are 1 3/8" apart (center to center} on this product. The 1974 Jeep CJ5 is 2 3/8" between heater core inlet/outlet pipes. A person could try and modify holes and make it work but will not look good. So makes this part worthless as far as I am concerned.

Worked great had to cut down the thickness. Razor knife, no problem.
