The included tools are high polished steel I would say about 18 gauge so they're strong and solid as well as resistant to rust.The wooden handles are a nice touch too. These are by no means "top of the line" but they're very well made and at the price for the entire package you would expect to and would pay more for the tools alone.Each tool fits perfectly in it's canvass holder so staying organized is a breeze.The seat is solid and sound and quite comfortable so no more sore knees or aching back! Just a wonderful, well conceived item that offers tremendous value for the dollar. My mother-in-law is a big gardener, but as she's aged working outside, bent over or on her knees planting or pulling weeds has become more difficult. This was the perfect gift for her and she couldn't have been more vocal about it. She loves the stool, but.more so, finds the tools and their pockets to be the best feature of this garden set. She said she was always losing one tool or another or finding them just out of reach. With the pocket system, she has someplace to put the tool when she's done with it without worrying where she laid it down. Must have for any gardener.

I don't garden so I'm not too sure how amazing this product is, but I got this for my mom as a surprise since she loves gardening in the backyard of her house and she was super excited to use this product. She was raving about all the tools they had, and even was surprised to see some other tool in here that she says most kits don't provide.She was also very happy that it turns into a seat/chair for her to sit on when she's doing weeds or planting new trees/flowers in the garden.

bought this for my wife. she loves it. makes gardening so much easier. although she went ham on a stubborn root and broke the handle of the larger shovel. other then that, its great. if you are wanting to save your knees/back while gardening this is awesome. if you are just diggin through light top soil, its great. by the way this doubles as a great hicking/camping chair. i strap it to my pack while hiking, just remove the back under the seat with a few snaps. comes off easily.

Returned this item the day it arrived. It was a gift for my husband who is 6'3" tall (weighs 212 lbs) who loves gardening in the back yard. He opened the box and put everything together but when he went to sit on the "sturdy steel frame" the seat collapsed and he was almost impaled by the weeder. The quality of the tools leave a lot be desired. They're flimsy and he went back to his old ones because he didn't want to bend/break these. Not worth the money and definitely a safety hazard. I think I'll go to the local nursery and see what I'm buying.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the tools bent on my when I dug through hard/dried dirt. The tools work most ideally in moist soil. The stool is also a bit high and could be uncomfortable to sit in when handling seeds, weeds, or dirt. The stool works best for pruning of shrubs and other activities that require less leaning over. My dad really likes this gift and uses it often though, but it could be made a little better.

Got it for my husband for Father’s Day and he loves it. He does a lot of gardening and yard work in the summer. It’s great quality and sturdy. Worth the price paid.

Bought as a present for my wife, who spends a large part of here summer in our large garden at the cabin. She loved the tools which fit snugly in the holders, and finds the seat very comfortable - she even sat on it last night while we played a family board game!
