Grips well and is very flexible. Way better than the hard plastic type.

The mounts for an RE320 are terribly expensive, so I looked at this as an alternative after seeing a video on YT where someone used this model to hold a similar ElectroVoice. Well, it works. The XLR stub doesn't go all the way thru the clip, but the clip grips the RE320 very firmly and it's pretty darn sturdy. Now it does transmit any table bumps thru the desktop mic stand, but if you're using a boom stand this may not be a problem. Given that the RE320 is a long and kinda heavy mic, I'm impressed...the mic clip holds the weight well and the leverage of the mic doesn't bother it. Just tighten it down real tight if you're using a big mic and you'll be just fine. Really impressed with this so far!

Durable, but seems a little overpriced. A bit inflexible as well.

I have gone through my share of mic clips recording a music podcast and prefer flexible mounts for their versatility with different singers and mics.I've had several of these clips for about a year now and they work perfect, they are really grippy which works well to keep the mic where I put it. If you need to constantly remove the mic from the stand I wouldn't recommend this clip as it take quite a bit of effort to remove a mic from its grip. But since that is why I purchased these I could not be happier!

If you can break these clips, you are a Neanderthal with anger issues. These things are ideal for gigging or a mobile church where things end up going bump on a regular basis. I end up cutting the slot bigger since most musicians have absolutely no idea how to get the mic out of the holder unless you do that, but I am 100% sold after breaking virtually every mic holder on the market over the years. I wholeheartedly recommend these things.

I've been looking a long time for some rubberized mic clips and settled on these.I've broken countless plastic ones for various reasons and have been looking for a good quality rubber one for a few years.I've found them.Very secure grip, without worry of having them break on me.They may not be the choice of vocalists, though, that like to take mics in and out of stands, as these have a very tight hold and don't have much space for a mic cable to pass through. However, they're great for mic'ing amps, or for instrumentalists/vocalists who like their mics to stay put during a performance.

I put a standard size stage mic in and and later took it out to find a tear down the side. It also didnt stay upright very well.
