I have a nice Hamilton 400-N music stand and it fits easily. When not needing to take the music stand, I have used it to carry a Hamilton trumpet stand, and it also fits nicely in the bag. I am not a full time player, so it will be a while before I know how it wears, but it should be well worth the price.

I bought a used chrome sheet music stand and kept it wrapped in a piece of cloth and rubber-banded securely for traveling. This case is an absolute perfect fit for it and it is fine quality material.

Good price for a music stand case. I wish the carrying straps would allow my nephew to be able to carry it on his shoulder. The carrying strap is so short and flat that the only way to carry it is to hold it like a duffle. He wishes he could have shoulder ones so both his hands are free.

Item received was not as depicted in the illustration. The illustration showed a bag with a strap running almost the length of the bag, suitable for slipping over the shoulder to carry. The bag received only had a strap approximately 6" long, suitable only for hand-carry. The ability to shoulder carry the bag was the only reason this bag was chosen over other brands.

I have a basic chrome folding stand stand which was fine in the house, but if you fold it up, even to put it in the closet you end up juggling the two separate pieces. And forget carrying it in one hand with an instrument in the other. This solves both the storage and portability problem.
