I don't see the need of buying a monitor hood for $60, but anyway this openmoon 5.6 inch monitor hood spells quality and affordable and it works just like the $60 one. I bought this for my feelworld f6 Plus 5.5 inch monitor, it fits like a glove. when I go to Florida in the summer now I can see my monitor.

I was hoping this would fit my smallHD DP6 monitor to replace the long and deep shade it came with, and this is a perfect replacement! No issues, very happy!

This works quite well with the viewfinder on my Sony PMW EX3 CineAlta Cam.

Purchased for my Shinobi/SDI 5" which in reality is 5.6". This hood fits just outside the edge of the screen so there are no obstructions. The touch screen can be slightly cumbersome to get to now but it's not bad at all. Definitely worth it. This costs basically nothing in the film world.

Bought new and it arrived with the straps on the back cut in half. One of them was even torn off on the side so it had 3 partial straps. Not worth waiting the weeks for a replacement so am sending back. Terrible QC.

SmallHD discontinued making the sunhood for its DP6 monitors. This fits perfectly on my DP6-SLR. Hope that helps someone - I was searching forever before I took a chance and got this.
