I have never had a problem with these capacitors. Someone gave it a 4 star review because they broke off one of the leads. That only happens when the capacitor isn't handled properly. You can't repeatedly bend them back and forth, so pre-bend them them with the proper tool(s) so they fit as well as possible for your particular install. It's normal to bend them a little more when soldering them in.

I installed this capacitor as part of a complete internal rebuild of my Schecter guitar. The long legs helped when planning the best placement/position for soldering. Is capacitor body is much larger than typical capacitors found in guitars so I recommend planning its position in advance. Also, unlike many capacitors of this type, this one has a slight polarity/preference. It probably wouldn’t make much difference if installing it in reverse, but if you’re a perfectionist like me you’ll want to test it ahead of time. After the project was complete my guitar had a greater range of tonal clarity and adjustability.

They're good quality caps, been using them for years.They DO have a polarity, and it is random relative to the writing printed on the cap! Search how to check it.The short of it is: You can use a high gain amp, a guitar cord and touch the cap's leads to the + and - on the cord (guitar cord, NOT THE POWER CORD), then touch the cap with your fingers and listen for the more noisy vs quiet result to know the proper polarity. The "quiet" way is correct.

The tone capacitors are a very good size if you need longer reach. The tone differences sound warm and smooth. Reasonable price and quick shipping.

I've used these before and love them. They work great for tone pots just make sure you polarity right to keep them from picking up any unwanted noise. They will work either way but while your doing may as well do it right. I will buy these again
