Great product for modifying my transmission pan and changing my own fluid. Eliminates the need to pump it back in the factory port.

Routine oil changes keep the engine and turbos happy, it is much easier with the valve installed. Previously had to drop the belly pan and that added 10 minutes to each side of the project. With the valve I reach up thorough an existing hole in the pan, flick it open and out goes the oil. I leave a short hose attached that clear the pan and keeps it neat. Also have one on my Subaru and they work great.

I purchased this for my 2016 Ecoboost Mustang. The kit comes with a washer as well as the valve itself. Please note that if you're buying it for an Ecoboost Mustang, you will need to also buy an extension fitting as the valve itself does not clear the raised sections of the oil pan around the drain plug fitting. There is no clearance issue on my car since the drain plug points to the rear of the car rather than in a downward angle. I've had it on my car for about 6 months and 5k miles, enough for one oil change. I also bought the clip that fits over the drain valve that gives extra assurance that it won't move, although the spring is fairly strong and I wouldn't anticipate it being moved anyway. The construction of the valve seems solid. The valve seals completely and I have not experienced any leaks, neither at the valve nor the threads. The threads fit perfectly in my car and are well-machined. There are more expensive valves available, but this one seems to be just fine. Most of the other valves I've seen are about $50 more expensive than this one, and I'm sure they're fine, but I have no reason to believe that this valve is in any way inadequate in terms of durability, safety, and performance. It drains a bit slower than the OEM drain plug, but that's to be expected with a smaller opening. Completely draining ~6qts of warm oil with the valve took around 15 minutes, which is maybe 5 minutes longer than the time I would leave the drain plug out, so it's really not a big deal.Update 2024: still have this on my car, and haven't had any problems with leaks. It still drains properly and works as well as when I first put it on.

This is super convenient to have however it's like walk away and do something else for a while slow. I still totally believe it's worth it for me. I got the one with the nozzle coming out the end so I could put a hose on it and oh my goodness it's so convenient.

Generators should have their oil changed at the beginning (or end) of every season. Naturally you run yours every year, properly put it up, and change the oil? That keeps even Fran era generators running smoothly for hurricanes 20 years later.Changing the oil has always been messy angst. In my Generac the oil drain on the Suzuki engine is on the flat bottom of the crank, a simple NPT plug, and recessed near a wheel and the bar frame of the generator. In 20 years I hadn't sucessfully contrived a way to change the oil without some mess and clean up. Urgh. Angst. Then online I found about these Fumoto quick change valves. For my NPT plug I had to match this with their ADP-710 adapter. This combination gets me three things:(1) The flip lever keeps my finger out of the oil as when before removing a simple square end NPT metal plug.(2) The length in this case (which I'd have contrived as necessary) gets the valve output past the bar frame - so if I did nothing else the oil would still not get all over the frame.(3) The output - of this model - is a tubing end. So I can slip on a piece of tubing and direct the oil even more.I wish I'd known about these 20 years ago. I'm considering buying the appropriate models or my Tundra and our Odyssey to make those changes also less yucky.

The valve was well machined and I liked the locking ring that prevents the valve from accidentally opening. Expensive but I think my next oil drain will be much easier because I can drain directly into oil bottle.

As soon as I buy a vehicle I install this, since my 1995 Blazer 6.5TD. Maybe 7 or 800,000 miles on vehicles sonce then. It's a must have. Never again spill oil when changing. And I've never had a problem or failure, 4 Duramax HD, Tahoe, wife Cadillacs and GMCs.

I love these Fumoto valves. They make oil changes so easy and quick. They are a little expensive but I have owned a number of them for different vehicles and I have always been satisfied

Great product but F107N does not fit the Ford Edge sport 2018! The search tool will bring you to this item after you enter your vehicle details. Buyers beware!
