Before I ripped into the front of the engine someone had obviously already tried to loosen the fan clutch nut. This $19 tool works great. Thick metal. The holes could have fit better but it worked.

the metal used is soft and hopeless. the spanner size changed and the holding tool started to bend. cheap and bad quality

The wrench part works great or my BMW but the part that holds the bolts in place unfortunately does not fit

I really wan not expecting much but when these showed up I was first impressed with the weight. These will not bend easily. As far as it’s functional use…I removed the fan clutch easily.I used it on a 2000 bmw e46.

Took a bit to align the tools, but they worked for removal of the fan from my e46 BMW.

Any work involving removing the fan clutch need that tool. It works exactly as it supposed to do.
