Worked perfectly on a 21 year old Ford with a stubborn and seized fuel pump retaining ring. Tried several methods including a tool that had only two points of contact with the ring. It would just flop over when applying a lot of torque with a breaker bar. This tool would stay in place and grip the ring with a little downward pressure when applying the high torque to break the threaded plastic ring loose. It is well worth the price because it will save a lot of time and frustration of attempting other methods.

Seems reasonably sturdy, acceptable quality, might work well ... but I don't know for sure because it doesn't fit the retainer on my 2011 GMC Sierra.

Some reviews said it was too wide for a 2012 Honda Fit fuel pump to fit between the seats. I ignored them, figured they maybe just didn't try hard enough. They were right. Though I was able to make it work, it was a pain.

I bought this to remove the Fuel Pump on my 96 Landrover. I tried using a screwdriver to loosen the plastic ring, but it would not move, and I didn't want to damage it. I bought this tool, and it came right off without damage.
