Did some extensive research on travel backpacks before ordering this one and based on the criteria I was after, this seemed to match my wants and it exceeded my expectations. Here’s what I was looking for: Price sub $150, easy front access pocket, pass through for luggage handles, ability to hide straps inside pack, clamshell opening, durable zippers, 25+ L capacity. This bag has all that and the durability is far beyond the price point. I think I’m an Osprey customer for life.

I love how to can open the whole front of this pack ad easily find what you are looking for. Its well made and perfect for flights carry on requirements. Held all I needed for a multi week trip to Africa. Highly recommend for a carry on back pack. Comfortable to wear also.

I was deciding between the 35L and the 44L, and Osprey's official specs were wrong/confusing. I packed the 35L full and took (exterior) measurements and it was 19.3"L x 13.5"W (not 14.6") x 9"D (not 10.2"). I hope this helps someone because I was very confused when I compared the written specs for the 35L vs the 44L.Actual review:- It looks small but then you actually pack it and it holds a TON.- Great size for medium height person. 44L would make sense for taller / larger people (e.g. 6' male).- Two side pockets for water bottles, liter-size Nalgene bottle fits fine.- Two exterior pockets on front of pack, top one opens wide and has organizer for pens/chargers/cables. Would fit your quart-size zip lock of liquids for easy access through Security.- Separate computer compartment on back, false bottom to protect your laptop, loop for zipper tie for extra security.- Other thoughtful details as Osprey does. Robust carry handle on top, plus one on the side so you can heft it up or into the trunk easily,- Backpack straps can be tucked inside a special compartment if you don't want them out,- Sleeve to secure the pack on a rolling suitcase handle.Overall I'm very pleased with the design and size of this travel backpack. It's not over-engineered or over-built, has just the right amount of robustness and features, and lots of space. Great value at the regular price, an absolute steal if you find it for less. Well done, Osprey.

I was still able to take it on as a personal item, even on those cheap flights like Allegiant . It’s nice having the different compartments to carry lots of items for travel. Nice quality of fabric. Really comfortable to carry

But very comfortable. My other osprey items are much more comfortable. This is like wearing a block.

I purchased this bag and the Osprey Daylite 26+6 to see which one I liked best, this bag won hands down. If you're looking for smaller bag than the 26+6 would be a good option, but I preferred the 35L for a few reasons. First, it's larger and I tend to use my carry on as my main bag while traveling with all my cloths, this bag gives me a little more room for a few extra items. Second, the laptop compartment in the Osprey 26+6 is accessed only from inside of the bag, meaning that you have to open the bag, where all your cloths and items are, to pull out your laptop. Normally not a big deal, but if you're in line at the TSA and they tell you to remove your laptop then you need to crack your bag open and dig past your nicely packed cloths inside, then you'll have to do the same to stuff it back in there as well. The Daylite 35 has the laptop compartment separate from the main compartment, with it's own zipper, much easier to access quickly without disturbing anything inside the main compartment. Third, both have side pockets for water bottles or other storage such as a tripod, but the Daylite 35L has compression straps on the sides as well. The benefit to that design is that I can stick my tripod or trekking poles that are longer and lash them down so they won't fall out of the side pocket. I'll add that there is one more difference between the two bags, the Daylite 35L has the ability to tuck the shoulder straps into the back of the bag and out of the way, the Daylite 26+6 has fixed shoulder straps that cannot be tucked away. I doubt I will use that feature but some may carry the bag by it's handle instead so that gives you the opportunity to move the straps out of the way.All in all I'm very happy with this bag! I own an Osprey daylite hiking bag that has taken a beating, so I expect this will hold up as well under less abusive circumstances. I will say that the smaller Daylite is a great bag as well, this one just had a few more feature that benefited me more.

Fits under the seat, more comfortable than my small laptop bag, seems durable, holds a lot, can't think of one thing I'd change about this bag, makes navigating through airports a breeze, well worth the cost and exactly what you'd expect from Osprey

- leichtes Material - empfehlenswert.
