I have an older Black & Decker, Power Boost hand mixer. The beaters have been washed so many times the coating is coming off and rust has formed. Desperate for replacement beaters, I took the chance and ordered these. Although the stop plates don't snug up, the beaters fit and work perfectly. No need to replace the hand mixer I have enjoyed for 3 decades!

Because I was unable to find a correct beater replacement number for my Sunbeam Mixmaster hand mixer anywhere on the net, Model# FPSBHM1801, I wrote to Sunbeam directly to ask them the correct replacement number. They gave me this exact beater replacement number, but it does not snap into my beater housing. I was reading about some people complaining, however, regarding a part inside the actual beater itself that goes bad, the part the beaters fit into. I cannot say for certain the beater replacements recommended to me was the incorrect number or my beater itself has a broken part inside where the beaters snap into. This darn model of hand mixer is just the worst ever from the lowest speed being so high it splatters foods everywhere even out of my largest & deepest of bowls, to parts going bad and beeters falling out. I just give up!!!! I went ahead and purchased another beater online from Target and absolutely love it. It is a black Oster hand mixer (kind of heavy but not so much I can't use it), model# FPSTHM2578. It's powerful, has just the "right speeds" (several speeds) ranging from low to high & even has a "Turbo" button for extra power. Low is just right and the highest to Turbo speeds are so powerful. It's 60Hz (250W).

Works great. A new mixer would have made more sense economically but all we needed was a single beater. Thanks for offering these, it saved us from throwing out something that had plenty of life left.

I bought a mixer from Amazon as a gift for someone, and one beater broke after the second use. I looked high and low for a beater that would fit, and finally found this one. Because this is a little longer than the one supplied originally, I had to buy two. I wish I could have returned the mixer, but it was after the due date for returns till I found out about the broken beater. I thought I had a good deal on the mixer….

I had called the manufacturer every few months for a couple of years, trying to replace a bent beater. Since it still worked I wasn't in a hurry but each time I called they were 'out of stock'. Finally I tried searching on line and Amazon was the only place I could find it. Thank you! I ordered 2, just in case.... and I am really glad I did because these new beaters do not fit into my mixer the same as the old ones and are not compatible, hence the 4stars instead of 5. As a pair they work great!
