I was looking for something similar to what I've.My previous blender lasted 12 years it was also Oster but different model!This is my favorite brand ! I had this blender for a month so far no problems or anything! I LOVE THAT HAS A FOOD PROCESSOR THAT'S A PLUS FOR ME!!I used it to blend carrots for a carrot cake and I did what's supposed to do!I'm very happy with my purchase hope that can last me many years 🙌

I should have returned this combo but wanted a blender with glass pitcher so bad I kept trying to make it work. I grew up with an Oster blender so thought this would be a smart purchase. It was not. Toaster arrived with internal parts twisted inside so bread falls through, I fixed that but it's very cheaply made. The blender is the worst part though, it works properly maybe 10% of the time, the rest of the time just spins and not chopping or blending for fruit smoothies. It's awful. I have to get a spoon out multiple times to hand stir the smoothie and they still come out lumpy.Worst purchase I never returned and wish I had.

Oster always delivers. My last Oster blender lasted me 20 years. The attachments from the old one fit this new one nicely. The base unit seems like it is a super cheap quality of plastic. We shall see if it lasts another 20 years. Time will tell!

I had a blender for many years that had a plastic container. It was much lighter and never broke. The glass container is very heavy.
