Product looks nice, easy to read dial, but ..... defective worthless waste of time and money. I received first one and needle never moved at all. Requested replacement, received that straightaway. This one needle moves but NOT consistently. Calibrated it against other barometer and looked OK for day or two then stopped moving. Recalibrated it and (rinse and repeat) never stayed calibrated and stopped moving after a few days. Hygrometer never worked straight out of box but would have cared less about that if barometer worked.

I don't mind tapping the barometer to get the needle to its current reading. It is a mechanical barometer and has stiction(static friction) as expected. Needle does move much at my 4600 ft altitude, don't know if it should. Does seem to agree with weather station reading on first use.

I don't have a way to rate the accuracy. It's small, so unless you will place it somewhere that you can be close enough to monitor, it will be unhelpful. I can see whether it's going to be stormy or not, so that is helpful from the kitchen window.

This product is not bad, it’s moderately good. The temperature and humidity seem fairly accurate barometer is not as accurate and the instructions recommend tapping the glass to get a reading which I don’t understand why. The needle does bounce around when the glass is tapped.

We live on a mountain with chalenging wheather at times. I like that this is a three-fold metric. We have it on the front porch of a log home where it is sheltered from wind. Temp seems to be spot on when I have checked it. Looking forward to seeing how it does in the winter. So far, I really like it.
