I had purchased lower voltage string lights for our deck, but they were still a bit bright. This dimmer is fantastic and has selections off 100, 75, 50 or 25 percent of the bulbs normal output. Plus, the remote also has a timer function. Very satisfied with this product!

Works well. Highly recommended. One small concern is the printing on the remote is almost unreadable in dim light. I added labels to make them more readable in dim light--see pictures of before and after.

The unit works fine. The remote works fine although the remote did not have white lettering so you can see what the control has available. I had to take a white ink pen and paint the over the letters and numbers in order to see them.
