I purchased this to replace a post lamp that seemed to go bad for one reason or another. This one is very sturdy, seems well put together to keep weather out, and was easy to install. My only complaint is that the wires could be a little bit longer. They were able to reach where I needed them to get to, but there wasn't a whole lot of slack left. Rather than having to splice some together or use connectors, adding another 6 to 12 inches would be preferred. It can always be cut shorter. The fixture itself is a bit smaller than my old one too, so looks a little out of place on the lamp post itself but it does the job and illuminates the space around so I'm otherwise happy with it.

Loved everything about it. Simple instructions which fits a pole 3 1/2" wide with no problems. Delivery for one day service was outstanding for a $6.99 because this was my driveway lamp that was demolished by a heavy falling branch that hit it dead on. Needed a replacement immediately. Ordered it one day the next day it arrived. Thank you Amazon!!!!!

This lamp was recommended by Amazon when we bought a replacement for our front yard pole that was wiped out by a car.It’s a good looking lantern. Lightbulb not included, BTW (By The Way). Good value.

I actually bought this to convert to solar. I already had a solar panel-battery pack from another light with a cheap plastic light fixture. Wired it up to this with a 3-volt Edison base bulb and it looks great on my corner fence post. I may eventually extend my low voltage landscape lights out there and change to a 12-volt bulb. This is a very versatile fixture and seems to be of good quality.
