This is a really cool little setup. It comes with everything needed to get some good filtered water. It's a very easy system to use and easy to setup. I've used this for a couple hiking trips now, and the water tasted great! The filter is built well, and being able to gravity filter your water, push it through by force, or just use it as a straw makes it very functional. This is definitely worth the money for being able to have clean drinking water when you're in the middle of nowhere!!

This is a perfect set to store in a hiking backpack or emergency bag. I like the addition of the water storage bag and straw for various use cases. I have not used it, so I can't speak to the quality of the filtration, but the overall build quality is good.

I didn't find how many microns this filter goes down to like 1-10 microns?? Good materials and construction. There's a very old saying about water on the high seas but it applies to anywhere on Earth. "Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink." Great idea for the modern age when you need to drink some untreated water in the wild areas when hiking or camping. I used iodine tablets in the military when we were on the move for hours at a time and the only sources of water were small ponds or streams in the woods or jungle. But, obviously, iodine tablets do not filter out the sediment, toxic chemicals, or other junk in the water like this state of the art water filter. Keep those nasty things out of your body and carry one of these with you wherever you may go. Great idea for a bugout bag since carrying enough water is impossible. You need to blow some air into the bag to inflate it before you fill it with water. The small water bag actually screws onto the bottom end of the filter. The long slender silicone rubber tube is attached to the bottom end nipple so you can drink water straight out of the source or you could sip it out of the small water bag. They do tell you to blow in the sipping end to create backflow to purge the filter when you are done drinking.

A must have for your emergency bag. Nice and small so it doesn't take up much space in your emergency gear. Come with a lanyard so you can wear around your neck too. Such a great idea. Take away the need to boil your water.

So just going by ingredients this looks to be a nice emergency filtration straw. I hope not to have to use it and it makes a nice edition to my vehicle’s emergency pack. The fill container looks though as it may need assistance as time goes with materials filling the charcoal filter but overall its a nice addition.
