I wrote an earlier review on the women's socks made by this company, which I also liked, but which ran small on my 10 inch (US size 9.5) foot when I bought the size medium. I returned those socks and got a woman's size large, which fit great. In more experimentation, I ordered these unisex medium socks. They are also wonderful, and I am happy to give them a 5 star review. In summary for my 10 inch foot, I either need a woman's large or a unisex medium. The socks are thick and work well under my thermal equestrian riding tights.. I have long legs and these socks are nice and tall. If you have wide calves, yhey might be too tight. Love their pretty designs! A great layer for the upcoming cold weather along Colorado's Front Range.

These socks were perfect! Over the calf, twice as thick to resist holes, and incredibly warm too!! They kept my feet warm & toasty!! They’re comfortable to wear all day long while out and about, and versatile enough to wear inside on a cold day while lounging around the house.

These socks run small. So buy a size or two bigger. However... mine fit snuggly like compression socks but are so cushiony and soft. They are a tad difficult applying but they are still alright. I love mine. Hubby on other hand, I bought him a size Large for his 10.5 USA size feet and his are way too tight for his skinny "chicken legs".

These are a great sock for keeping your feet warm but not overly hot and sweaty! The band at the top does not slip and I love how the heels have extra cushion. They are durable and I have been using these for a long time!

I ride or ski almost every day and this is the only brand of socks I wear. I've tried loads of other socks and nothing compares. They're the comfiest and the most durable. You can get them disgusting filthy, like multiple days of use in Backcountry and they come right back to life after a wash. Perfect volume, perfect warmth, and very comfy.

Upper band of sock is much too tight for an average 5'2" American woman. Medium Foot-Length Size is good fit for 7.5 Women USA. Diameter of Calf is a bit tight. Texture and color is nice for boot sock, gym shoe, cute for sandals. I rated this sock "3 Stars" because of the diameter of upper band--forget it. If you have a small 10" to 12 1/2" calf, go for it. If not--if more than 13"--do not choose this sock. Keep shopping.

Fun colour. Comfortable. Used them to do night sky watching. Wore ski pants and Uggs for bottom layers and was standing outside at -40 and was completely warm.
