After an overnight soak in some water, these went in the ground and sprouted quickly. They’re a large and vibrant orange bloom that are a real standout. This is a versatile flower for every garden. Use it in pots and it trails beautifully, on the ground it spreads quickly. In a salad or out of hand is where I like mine. They taste very much like a radish. Be ready for a little kick at the end.

I am sowing these indoors, in my cold apt, and they are coming up beautifully. Huge leaves. I am new to gardening (my 2nd year) but I feel pretty confident these are great seeds. I bought Burpee Nasturtium last year and they did well too, but I suspect these are going to be bigger, stronger flowers. They are the happiest thing in my kitchen. ... UPDATE: I am so happy with how they are coming up outside too, direct sown. I planted some in an area of poor soil, very dry, in the lawn along my walkway. I just pushed them in through the grass without properly preparing the soil because I didn't want to disturb the lawn. My neighbor said they'd never come up. Well, I planted 33 seeds and maybe one or two went missing (I blame chipmunks) but nearly all of them have come up! They haven't bloomed yet (only May, too early) but I'd buy them for the leaves alone.

I followed directions & soaked the seeds before planting. When planted they were up & growing in no time. It's been a couple of weeks & they're doing beautifully. I'm very eager to see them 'spilling' over their containers. I will definitely order more of these seeds.

Attractive plant and flowers, but spotty germination.

After soaking the seeds I planted them and they are growing. Very pretty orange flowers. I love the cute round leaves

I usually do scarification with my nasturtium seeds but these seeds were so badly beaten up I didn't need to. Sadly there was a low germination rate, 60% I would say. Not worth it.

Normally very happy with Outside Pride seeds. But these also contained wood borer beetle nymphs. I don’t need those in my house or yard. 1 âï¸The seeds all popped and are doing beautifully. 5âï¸

Decided to try these despite my wife’s general disdain of the multicolored nasturtiums. Her view (not mine) is that the regular nasturtiums are too common. Now that they are blooming, we have a convert! She loves the color and keeps saying how unusual they are. The dark color is similar to a Pinot noir and against our white stucco walls they are stunning. The other night we had friends over for dinner. I lined a white platter with the leaves and on top of that I placed a filet of grilled salmon. I used the flowers as a garnish. Our friends and my wife loved the presentation and peppery flavor of the flowers with the salmon. As we get more blossoms I’m adding them to our nightly salads for both flavor and beauty. It’s so nice to find something that looks great, tastes great and makes my wife happy! I’m buying more seeds.
