The primary ruling is 0.5 inches tall with a dotted midline for proper letter formation through tall, small and fall letters. Tall letters extend above the dotted blue midline. Small letters sit on the red baseline and do not extend above the midline. Fall letters (or descending letters) drop below the red baseline. Overall notebook size: 8 x 10.5 inches. this is a nice set of spiral notebooks, with perforated pages for easy/clean tearing. The lines are printed nice and bright, & they're great for working on writing skills. There are also holes punched out on the pages, so they can be put in a larger spiral notebook.

Love that these are spiral bound and full page primary lined writing notebooks. Most primary notebooks are not spiraled and usually have half the page for drawing. If you are looking for pure writing pages this is a good set.

All I can say is great. These are hard to find but they are worth looking for. I don't buy anything else for my grandson. Great for everything they are used for. There is no other primary writing product as far as I am concerned. Did I say I like them? :-)

Great thickness on the paper. Perfect for my second grader! Love that it is a spiral note book and will lay flat. Good value too!
