I have been looking for a sugar dispenser that is between 12-16 oz. I wanted to purchase from a reputable company, and I was able to find this perfect size from OXO. I have several kitchen items from them and have never disappointed me.The sugar dispenser does not get clogged, I can see how much sugar I have, and it goes with my modern kitchen. The glass is not thin and fragile but I would only hand wash this. Very well made and functional. That is what I wanted.

I like this dispenser because it has a manually operated pour spout. It is silicone and appears to seal the dispenser nicely if you have high humidity. Unlike the standard metal flap design which always seems to stick and/or clog a bit, this one pours quickly and consistently.

I live in humid Florida. We have had one of those standard, restaurant-style dispensers for years and it drove me NUTS! I just got fed up with the sugar crystalizing because a lack of seal from moisture and then clogging up every time, causing you to have to shake it, clear it and try again. I bought this one, hopeful it would be better, as it has a better lid/seal and it is WAY better! When crystals do form and block the flow, which is far less often because the hole is larger, all you have to do is flip the lid closed and reopen it and it breaks up the offending chunk. I also recommend those silica-gel packets in the container, to help absorb moisture and keeps the sugar dry. This dispenser is a solid design and works as advertised and it looks great!

Easy to use, contains the sugar well, good quality, the close-able pour spout works very well. You cannot put this container filled with sugar in the refrigerator, the condensation that is formed makes a mess and the sugar does not pour well.

I bought several different sugar containers to find this one, which is the best for carrying sugar into the office. Simple design, easy to clean, and big enough for a couple weeks' supply. Most importantly, it doesn't run the risk of opening during transportation.

OXO has a new fan. I love this sugar dispenser. I thought it would be bigger but as it turns out, it is just the right size for my hands and easy to use. The dispenser is well made, good quality and it's a great design. I won't waste my time in the future when it comes to kitchen wear and go straight to OXO.

Great choice for sugar dispenser, the brand is in my kitchen for many items. The spout doesn’t clog & the sugar flows easily. Another plus is the glass container holds 12 oz (cup & a half) of sugar.

The problem with most sugar dispensers is that they are so small that they need refilling every other day and/or that they are open at the top so moisture can get in and cause the sugar to crust over (not to mention adventurous spiders and other creepy crawlies!). The OXO 11212600 Good Grips Glass Sugar Dispenser does not have these shortcomings.The sturdy glass container is a good size and the flip opening protects the contents well. It is so much better than other dispensers I have tried that I am surprised that there is not a large stock of them available here in the UK. Mine was ordered through Amazon UK but had to come from Amazon US. The delivery was, however, pretty impressive. Ordered on Tuesday 28th March - scheduled to arrive on 12th April - delivered on Monday 3rd April. Wow!
