I had a spatula exactly like this for several years but the handle eventually broke off. (due to misuse by hubs) My local store no longer carried it. Was happy to see it on Amazon. This is perfect for eggs. It is very thin metal and slips right under the eggs for an easy flip or for manipulating an omelet fold. No other spatula will do.I gave it 5 stars overall because it is the beast breakfast spatula in the world. However, don't use it on your grill to flip big burgers- it isn't sturdy enough for that and will not withstand that type of use. (thus the 4 stars in those areas) I suggest getting some other beast of a spatula for those other jobs. And now that I have schooled my husband on using the proper tool for the job, I don't think we will have issues with this one breaking again.

I got this specifically for fried eggs in my cast iron skillet and it works awesome! Very thin and flexible, helps for sliding right under the eggs. Time will tell how the little spot welds will hold up. I can't imagine it'll last more than a couple of years with moderate use, but at this price, I'll just get another if this one breaks.Edit 4-5-2020: I bought this in 2014 so it's going on 6 years now and still going strong! The little spot welds have held up surprisingly well and show no signs of breaking. I've used this thing at least twice a week for the past 5+ years and haven't been gentle with it. I typically throw it into a bottom drawer with other utensils... no problem! OXO makes great inexpensive products. I always know I'll get a quality product when I buy their brand.Edit 1-23-21: Still going strong. I just used this again this morning with some fried eggs and was talking about how great this spatula is with my gf. Going on 7 years of use and abuse with no problems! I'm not sure how those little spot welds have held up this long, but they have!

So thin it slides right under everything you cook. Flipped over it's an excellent pan scraper. The bad news is it's so thin that it's tempting to use the tip for light cutting and chopping in the skillet. Those spot welds held up for 11 months with this abuse, but one side has now broken loose. Used correctly, this turner will undoubtedly last many years. The good news is I've just discovered there are two sizes, so both are coming tomorrow!3 reasons not to cut and chop with the thin/sharp tip.You weaken the spot welds.Even in ceramic-type nonstick skillets, you can scratch or mar the surface when it slips. There is tension on the blade, so you will flip food across the room more than once. The spot weld issue notwithstanding, this turner is one of the best tools I've ever owned. I like it so much I'd take time out of my day to make a review on Amazon about it. Highly recommended for people who cook food in a skillet. (bulldozer enthusiasts, pass this one by)

Wanted a flexible spatula. This is definitely flexible. So thin it’s almost like foil. If that’s what you’re looking for, get it. But note you can not press anything down unless using the very heel.

I loved this spatula because I could turn my very over easy eggs so well with this. However, the tiny tack welds holding the handle to the very thin blade was not sturdy enough to make it last longer than a few months. No matter how hard I tried to be gentle with it, the blade broke loose from the handle. It’s too expensive to buy one every couple of months.

We don’t really eat fish but I eat a lot of sunny side eggs and husband bakes a lot of cookies.Nice thin flipper but still strong enough to lift.

Was good while it lasted for pancakes and eggs, but like others have said, the connection between the metal prongs coming from the handle appear to be really tiny, single welds that aren't that strong. If this was 7 or 8 bucks, maybe that would be more acceptable, but at 20, they should be investing in a more secure way to attach the two. I would buy it again if it was significantly improved.

Very good! It's so thin, it slides right under an egg. I've been looking for this for years! The medium is a good, all around size. I recently found a thin spatula for my non-stick pans. Now, I have one for my cast iron and other pans. Cookies will no longer be broken. Thank you. Decent price.

My favourite flipper for eggs and fish. Feels gentle on the pan and easily slips under soft eggs. After a few years my first one failed at the spot welds, but I really used it a lot. They’re not a lifetime heirloom tool, but it’s a working tool. Recommended

Not for use with non-stick unless you are very careful, but for omelettes, burgers, steaks, pancakes these Oxo turners are the best. Have both the medium and the large.

The best eggflip I have ever had!Ultra Thin and flexible. Not for lifting heavier items as flexibility can cause slippage but perfect for my requirements
