As with most OXO prodcuts. the masher is sturdy, durable and withstood severe unnecessary crushing from my partner. The size of the masher made it an easy tool to use. manage and get great results.This Masher is easy to use with its oversized but comfortable handle and easy to clean. This model is a newer design than the original - slimmer and not as bulky.Overall. this masher meets our needs from breaking up ground meats and mashing up boiled potatoes. It's helped to mash/mix blocks of cream cheese, softened butter and diced fruits/veggetables making it easier to cook.Another winner from the OXO line of products.

This potato masher was just what I was looking for to replace my old one. Sturdy design and comfortable to use. I love the length/height, so you can use it in taller containers and it's just as effective!

I somehow lost my original one while moving... I had to purchase another because I couldn't go back to the one I used in my youth because this one was easier! Quality material, easy design, fair price.

OXO potato masher is excellent quality. The OXO potato masher is sturdy, strong, easy to clean. Just simply put the OXO gets the job done! I had an older version about 20 years old, lol. I did not want to give the older one up because of how much I loved it for a very long time, but it was finally getting loose on the handle. So I crossed my fingers ordering this newer style and ended up pleasantly surprised. I like this one as well. Whoop Whoop. Thank you OXO!

Not too large, not too small, just right for smashing beans or potatoes.Very sturdy and should last years.Also, a comfortable handle. Just a nice masher!

Me parecio caro al momento de la compra, pero igual lo compre, mi OCD no me permitió comprar ningún otro machacador que no hiciera juego con el resto de utensilios de mi cocina.Sin embargo cuando recibà el artÃculo pude entender el porque del precio, se siente la calidad de los materiales y de la manufactura, además es fácilmente el doble del tamaño y peso que cualquier otro machacador que halla visto antes, casi pudiera considerarse un arma blanca.

It has a longer handle which suits larger pots as well as standard size pots. It is sturdy and lives up to the OXO name. When potatoes are cooked properly, a masher like this works well and can produce fluffy potatoes.
