In the wake of news revealing what we should have perhaps already guessed—that black plastic cooking utensils were using a carcinogenic plastic—I ditched our long-serving oXo black plastic turner and got this one along with a comically large silicone turner. I’ve used this new metal one this week and it is a great size for turning most anything. The stainless steel construction is also very solid and this spatula will likely last a lifetime. I also like the rubberized bottom part of the handle, although I worry it won’t last as long as the rest of the tool.

Great “turnerâ€. I always called these spatulas. No frills, just a really good turner. Stainless steel and sturdy, which I like. Most OXO stuff is legit, and this item is no different.

This is a nice spatula. My only complaint is that the lead edge is a little too blunt, to the point that it will push a grilled cheese sandwich across a griddle rather than slip underneath it. Not a huge problem, but it takes some getting used to. After the first washing, it did not appear to collect water in the handle during the wash. Nothing dripped out of the handle when I unloaded the dishwasher.

I’ve been using this cooking turner for a few days now and I honestly can’t imagine my kitchen without it. It’s become my go-to tool for everything from flipping pancakes on lazy Sunday mornings to handling delicate fish fillets at dinner. It’s really sturdy but still flexible enough to get under whatever you’re flipping without any hassle.The stainless steel is super easy to clean, and I love that it goes right into the dishwasher without any fuss. Also, I’ve dropped it a couple of times and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear. The handle feels great in my hand, not too heavy but also not flimsy like some other turners I’ve tried.The size is just right too. I was worried it might be too small for larger items, but it works perfectly even when I’m working with big burgers on the grill. And I appreciate that it’s not totally flat, which I think helps with scooping things up without losing half of it in the pan. Honestly, if you're looking for something reliable that won't break the bank, this is it. Definitely recommend it!

Spatule en inox très solide, au design assez sobre mais qui respire la qualité (avec OXO, on est rarement déçu de toute façon).La poignée antidérapante au verso rend son utilisation très agréable.Je l’ai achetée pour l’utiliser avec mon nouveau set de poêles et casseroles en inox.Ça ne raye pas et ça permet de bien décoller un aliment qui commence à accrocher.Le rapport qualité prix me paraît très bon (11€ le jour de cet avis) comparé aux autres modèles les plus vendus, de prime abord un peu plus fins et moins bien finis.
