This 7 pin rv connector designed for use with RV and heavier utility & equipment trailers equipped with electric brakes. Directly plugs into a USCAR socket and supply power for tail lights, turn signals, electric trailer brakes, 12-volt battery, reverse lights, brake lights and ground connection.

Easy to install, just make sure your wires match the new wires.Check each of your wires with a test light, for example put right signal on and see which wire is blinking with test light and write down the color then do the same for all other wires then check new receptacle diagram to see if they are the same!

My old 2007 7 way trailer connector which I used 100's of times got corroded and lost some of the lights. Installed this one and it was great for the first 2 times I connected my trailer to it but then, nothing. The blades inside are made of a cheap metal and rather than hold their spring shape they flatten out so the plug does not connect. Thought it was only the center and pinched that tighter but still no lights, all the other flat pins were squezed so not contact. Junk
