This issue can significantly reduce your pump's use. Fortunately, fixing the seal in your Pacer S Series pump is simple with the Pacer Pumps shaft seal kit. The 58-0714 12-pump shaft seal kit includes the primary shaft seal and an EPDM O-ring.
The seal has both a stationary face and a face that rotates with the shaft, while the O-ring acts as a secondary static seal that is clamped between the pump housing and the pump stationary part. Both are intuitive to install, so you can return your pump to its normal function with little fuss or downtime.
