Purchaesd these 1/4" maple pieces as hardwood shims for my saw to sit on to shim up to the correct deck height. If you look closely at the photos I uploaded, you can see my miter saw has 2 strips on either side which are these maple pieces that bring it up to be level with the wings on my mobile miter cart. The drawer fronts are also hard maple, but those are 1/2" stock that was purchased at a local lumber yard. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome.

Wood was very flat. No warping. I used it to make trim for a wine cooler. Covered the front edge of the shelves with the wood so now it looks like a very high end wine cooler.

The material is good quality and the dimensions are spot on. However delivery took almost 3 weeks. They need to improve that.

I loved receiving this material as I had a project which required 1/4" material. It was clean, smooth, and had a beautiful clear grain. Only problem was that one of the board had a slight cup to it. I was able to sort of wrestle it to flat, but mitre cuts came out poorly and my final product was not as clean as i'd like. I will buy from them again, as I know this kind of thing happens, and i'm willing to try again. Material was packaged super-well.

The ad says no knots...that was not the case. One piece was cupped so badly it looked like a potato chip. Product was supposed to be ¼" thick but varied so much that it could not be used.

All Maple is considered a hard wood, but this is softest of the bunch. Received another package of wood, this with more maple attributes. Seller is kind.FYI, It’s a very soft porous maple you’re getting. Similar to poplar. Red maple? Seems each piece will have dark areas. Some more, some less. Luck of the draw.
