I bought this originally to use in my AFOs to cushion my heels and prevent pain when I walk and calluses forming from my heels rubbing against the hard plastic. The adhesive is so strong, I stick it to a strip of packing tape and leave a folded-over bit of tape on the top to grab onto, that way I can remove it or reposition it more easily. Although it does compress over time, it still does the job. I have found several more uses - anything where I've needed cushioning against my skin or in my shoes. I stuck some on an abdominal brace where it was cutting into my side under my rib. I even have washed the brace many times (in a garment bag), and the felt pad has stayed well stuck to it. It is a large amount in the roll, so good to keep on hand. I will purchase again.

I've been buying this product for years, but I guess they switched manufacturers. It is not dense enough to hold up, and compresses down to less than an eidghth of an inch immediately. It came with no cardboard core, and thus the padding in the center of the roll has already been compressed down to far less than a eighth of an inch, just from the packaging pressure. So only the outside layers are usable. This product is trash. I will return it, but am not holding out hopes for a usable alternative. I'm pretty sure every brand purchased their felt padding from the same factory.

This product is easy to cut and make padding the size and shape you need for shoes and or orthotics. They stay in place well. Can relieve pressure areas on feet. I'm sure there are other areas you could use it that I haven't had the need to try.

I bought this to pad parts of our home's bed frames to prevent them from causing holes in our box spring encasements. Working well so far. This stuff is a bit difficult to cut, but the toughness is one reason it works well. Also, as an FYI for future buyers it's best not to expect a piece of the felt to stick while wrapped around corners; it works better to cut separate pieces for each side of the corner (otherwise the adhesive may pull off one side due to the tension).

It's ok. The one big down side to it is that it is terribly difficult to remove the paper from the back to expose the adhesive. It's a huge struggle. I almost thought it didn't have any until I cut the paper off.

Not happy with this material, it is very cheap.

The felt is exactly what the wound clinic wanted me to use for my pressure ulcers on my great toes. It is soft and easy to cut the horseshoe shapes I needed. The most important part is the backing comes off easier than any I have ever used - even at the wound care clinic they love the backing! You can also use it for crafts. It is a very handy item!! Quality made.

The adhesive was insane it was like somebody gave this to me as a hoax. It was a prankster gift or something because there’s no way the adhesive is ever peeling off…
