The Panel Lockout is only 13 inches long when retracted and fits in a tool bag. Use it on panels 14 inches to 20 inches wide. With available extensions it can protect panels up to 37 inches wide. The Panel Lockout is constructed of sturdy, non-conductive plastic and installs in seconds. It includes a polished brass padlock with 3 keys, and a reusable tag out.

The telescoping bars of the Panel Lockout have slots on the back of each. The slot of the red bar slides under the loosened left panel cover screw.
Panel Lockout installation right view
The yellow bar is extended and slid under the loosened right panel cover screw. The padlock with the tag attached is installed through the hole in the yellow bar against the red bar to keep the Panel Lockout extended in place. (The screw on the Panel Lockout keeps the two bars from separating when not in use and plays no role in the installation)

For the exorbitant price, I would’ve thought this would’ve been a very thick rigid plastic. It’s thin and would easily break.

The Panel Lockout was easy to install and exactly as described. I was able to lock out several circuit breakers with one lock. Shipping arrived on time as promised and customer service was excellent. Will definitely order again.

When it comes to protecting employees lives or your life you have to take precautions to protect yourself. This product does it's job. I recommend it to any tech or Electrician.

The product is plastic decently made and is sufficient for the task of locking out a breaker panel and not the quality I would like. But it will work.

Very light plastic easy to break,I wouldn’t recommend, for the price I paid for I had specked more of a heavy duty one.
