These smooth writing, comfortable, mechanical pencils are great. They last for a long time. My son gradually loses them, but he goes through them slowly because he loves them. We keep erasers and lead on hand. They erase well and the grip is soft. I prefer a .5, but a .7 isn’t too thick and doesn’t break as often.It has 5 stars for the price and durability. I have some drafting mechanical pencils that are almost 30 years old, those are truly 5 Star worthy. Those Kura Togas are worth a look, but if you need volume and price that isn’t fully disposable, this is it.

I love these pens because they write so smoothly. I also like the colors that they come in, and have purchased them multiple times. They tend to last for a long time and people keep taking them at work because they write so well. I definitely recommend this Item and feel that it is definitely worth the cost

There is a lot to like about these pencils. I was looking for an alternative to the cheap, cheap mechanical pencils that are like $0.10 each when bought in bulk, and these are a great option. Although I love the Paper Mate Clearpoint pencils, they are just too expensive to give to my kids because they lose or break them too often.These pencils write well, are easy to hold and don't break the lead very often. The only thing that is frustrating to me is that the eraser is very tiny. Like super tiny. Now I know this is good for erasing small areas, but the eraser is gone after only about a week of my 12 year old using it. I have been unable to find a replacement eraser. I have ordered 3 different "5mm" erasers here on Amazon but none of them are the right size. I would totally give this product 5 stars if there were eraser replacements.

I use mechanical pencils for art, but I haven't always liked some of the more "high-end" mechanical pencils. These are affordable and feel good in the hand. I like everything about them except for one thing, which is that if I use the eraser, then I can't get more lead into the pencil easily. It's not a huge issue, but I do hope that Paper Mate will make them so that you can open the end to refill even without the eraser.

These pencils are very comfortable to use, the rubber grip does assist me to use this product as I do have arthritis in my writing hand.The multi pack option saves on individual packaging of single or double units, which only goes to landfill, and there is a colour choice for everyone, so sharing them with others is a great idea.
