I got this as an afterthought for tools that might be useful where I work. I was working on a machine and the Allen key I was using fell down into the cramped passages below, and this telescoping magnet made short work of retrieving it! My fingers were slippery again, as a machine tool that I was adjusting with the Allen key fell down into the aforementioned cramped passages! The tool was at least 200 grams in weight, but the magnet came through big time, allowing me to pick it up and out of danger! This purchase was money well spent, it works great for me in my workplace, it might help you too.

I was looking to replace a previous extendable magnet that had been broken from misuse, and I bought this because it looked like a decent deal. I didn’t think the magnets would be all that great, nor did I think the extending features would work very well, especially since the product was very cheap, even for four. I was wrong though! These babies are awesome. A single magnet can easily hold 3lbs (if you’re not swinging it around), maybe even more, and the telescoping body is quite durable. I’ve carried the same one on me everyday for a couple of months now; I use it almost on a daily basis and it’s still like-new. Extremely happy with this purchase. I was initially skeptical because of how dainty they look, but they really have proven to be useful. Would definitely buy again if ever needed.

Good value for the money. The magnet on each seems to be quite strong and can easily pick up various objects. Four come in the package so I keep them in various places to be handy. I can recommend these.

These extend enough to let me get pins up off of the floor without having to get down on my knees. They're not super-strong, but strong enough for small objects, which is just what I need. With the four-pack, I have one at my sewing/craft table, one in my travel sewing bag, one in my sewing retreat box, and hubby gets one for his workbench.
