I have a large Brazilian Rain Tree, which has branches of various size. Some are very small, no thicker than this wire and some are much larger, about the width of a pencil. I have previously purchased wire in variety packages, with sizes smaller and larger than this 2mm wire. This size (2mm) can be used for small branches, by wrapping lightly. It also works for larger branches if I double it up... start at the trunk, then wrap to the end of the branch, then back to the trunk. It's very good wire and can be re-used if you are careful to remove it. I leave the wire on from 3 weeks to 3 months and am seeking a very specific look for my bonsai. This wire has helped me achieve the look that I want. Good product.

This review is for 6mm 19 ft. wire.The product is NOT 19 ft. long. The wire is about 6ft long. Small piece. This will be returned.

This would work great for bonsai. I tried using it for Kokedama but the wire wasn’t strong enough to hold the weight of the Kokedama.
