I bought these solely for the panels. I used two rack mount enclosures from Sound Town and had several blank spaces to cover up. The backing nut plates were not needed and I wanted all screws to be the same. The panels are well fabricated and finished- no burrs or "blonde spots". I would buy this again if needed- just get the captivating hardware somewhere else. Echo Gear makes the best screws.
