After a long internet search for just the right part, I bought these as inserts for 8mm metric studs on my electric guitar, to convert them to use 5mm posts. They have a snug fit, the material feels solid, and it worked exactly for what I needed.

I had a modification kit for an appliance that came with sleeves as adapters for a new set of feet. One sleeve arrived warped, though (not this product). I had to match one of the other sleeves at Home Depot on the hole-wall to find the size. Turned out to be M4 on the inside, M6 on the outside.Since this would be an otherwise hard part to find in a big box, I came here and found what I needed. It worked perfectly.Moral of the story: This product works great. And don't forget to check the length you need as well, not just diameters.

I needed to add a magnet to the bottom of my project with a small hole in the bottom of the magnet. It was approximately a M4 flat head screw size. However the top of my project required a larger size screw (about an M6). I used this to merge the two into a working unit.

My tv has a non standard vesa mount of 100x100mm with M6 screw inserts. Every desktop mount I have found assumes the tv/monitor has m4 screws if the vesa size is 100x100mm. I screwed these in and it completely solved my previously thought insolvable problem. Thank you!!
