I assembled and installed the canopy myself. The instructions are clear, the assembly is not complicated, the mechanism works well. I recommend it for purchaseðŸ‘

With some decent instructions this could be completed in about 3 hours.Can't understand if they can't decently draw the assembly why they don't have step by step photos.The comprehension of language is very poor.After 4 hours I had to stop today.I need to regroup, disassemble and start again tomorrow.

The assembly video is a must!! I've done several assembly before this has been the worse instructions I've seen.. I had to drill 2 holes in the white square tube because they sent 2 of the same ends. Tools you will need a drill with a 14mm bit (if using the provided anchors) and small head Phillips bit. A 1/2, 17mm and 18mm wrench or socket or adjustable wrench. A 5mm Allen key. Small head Phillips screwdriver. Tape measure (arm assembly 12cm or 4&3/4 inches from the end) 2 ladders. One person can assemble will need 2 people to attach to structure. The durability of the product does appear to be good, however because poor instructions and one wrong part I gave a 3.

I didn't have the problem with the instructions others have mentioned. Way less Engrish in these and the pics could be deciphered to figure out what they meant. Quality of materials was pretty good, seemed better than others in the same price range. I suspect these particular awnings are returns or seconds from a higher end awning, hence the lower price and differences in instructions.Having said that, you may need to have the skills and patience to modify an adapt. As mentioned in another review, mine came with two left sides for the front bar, so I had to drill. Also, one of the canopy tubes had the holes drilled in the wrong spot so I had to drill new ones there. One tube was crushed, but since it was not cracked, I was able to push the inner sleeve all the way through from the other end and round it back out. Other than those issues, everything else went together fine. One tip: When putting the clamps on the main tube for the extension arms, ignore the measurements in the directions and just slide them on. After assembly, you will need to re-center the whole thing and having those parts free not only helps that, but makes the other pieces easier to get into place.

Nothing worked. We put it together and took it apart like 20 times. It never worked out, I had to send it back. Sent it back 3 weeks ago, and i still haven’t hear about my refund.

Hope you have a time to put this together. It’s a great product but the instructions are just awful. It switches from English and Spanish throughout the entire set of instructions. It has minimal info so you have to stick your face as close as you can to the images to see what you need. It labels in the alphabet but instructions say numbers. Once we figured it out, it came together okay. It took us a whole day to get it right and then when we thought we had it, we had to disassemble and try again. Would recommend just need some better instructions or to be smarter than the instructions I guess.

The instructions booklet that come with the Item really really needs replaced with a full description of all the parts! It's best to get a video then this instructions booklet!..
