I use this on my chestrig to carry glowsticks. I'm able to rip the glowstick off of the loop with ease and with zero damage to the loop or my rig. Great product.

POSITIVE: These ties work perfectly for the reason that I purchased them, They were purchased to bind large, nearly 2 inch thick books. I love them as they will not pop open and spew the pages everywhere as do the 'snap' binder rings that one finds in a stationary/office supply store. As you can see in the photos, they are nearly the same size as 2" snap style binder rings. If you are in a hurry and hands are full, you can pick the book up by the binding, and don't have to worry about the ring popping open and spilling the pages all over the place, as the rings are locked together by screw collar that has sufficient threads to withstand lots of vibration before unscrewing. I have a feeling that these rings will work for anything that you want to hold together in groups, such as keys, intended purpose, or anything that requires 'rings' such as shower curtains, window curtains, tools such as wrenches, measuring spoons, or anything else with an eye/hole for a ring. And for those that think they are difficult to fasten and unfasten, I have arthritic thumbs, and I was able to work the collars without tools, and the tools would have just made it more difficult, I just screwed them together. All you have to do is to line the threaded end up with the collar, as you would do with a nut and a bolt, and it screws together nicely. Now, hold the collar in right hand, and threaded end in left hand, and it is a breeze. Now a leftie may want to reverse this, but as I am right-handed, I just did the first suggestion. In general, they are just awesome LOCKING rings...NEGATIVE: I received one cable without a collar as you can see in one of the pictures, but is a fault of Quality Control, not the functionality of the product. The machine that made the items probably ran out of collars and spit one out before its computer brain noticed it needed to be reloaded with collars. I have worked in factories, and this happens. Thus I only docked them one star in "Value for Money" as I won't be able to use that one cable...

Works great. No need to over tighten them. There a little hard to back off the nut if you do. Just snug will do. They won't come undone or break. I use them to hold my bags of plastic fishing baits together. Works like a Rolodex. I can flip thru my bags of baits and there not all loose in a box or big bag. I just punch a small hole on each bottom corner of the bag. Then I can access my baits at the top of Ziploc. All brands are together, all styles, and all sizes. Just pick a color and start fishing. If you don't carry as many as I do. You can still use them to keep your favorite plastic baits together. I had 16 bags on two rings in the photo. It could hold 6 more without it being too many to flip thru. My wife uses them for her keys. Places all her keys on ring with a small piece of shrink wrap. Snugs down the nut then heats shrink wrap on nut and cable for extra insurance.

These are really nice. Much better then key ring, they also have 10". The best/most flexible useage. Some key rings are so stiff & unyielding, these are so adjustable. Give 10 stars. 11-14-24

I'm not sure why one review said they are not stainless steel, mine are and nope they are NOT magnetic. Another review said they used them to hang a curtain for a carport, while these may be used for other purposes you have to remember, they are meant to hold keys not a carport curtain! I used mine as a key chain and they work awesome for that. I like the bigger loop as it makes finding the right key much much easier. I would highly recommend these as keychains and not for something to carry anything heavier than keys as it is only a 1/8" cable with tiny threads for a closure.

Je croyais que le câble aurait été beaucoup plus résistant. Je les avais utilisé pour ma toile d'abris d'auto (la toile pour la porte qui se glisse), mais bien que le poids ne soit pas très élevé, les câbles n'ont pas résistés.

Used to prevent the squirrels from stealing the bird feeders around the garden. Ideally suited for securing things. Stainless seems to survive the outdoor well. The screw thread is of sufficient length and protected in the barrel. I covered with petroleum jelly (vaseline) to ensure they are easy to unscrew.I am not sure you would want to put a lot of weight on these but strong enough to stop the squirrels!
