We have a grass patch that was too expensive to even mention and took too much effort to clean and still sheds like crazy. This keeps disposable pee pads in place and prevent our 3 lb chihuahua from tearing them into shreds. He prefers to do his business on this one because it is roomier, gives him space do his pacing and turning and sniffing, and the fresh change of pad encourages him to go. I am getting rid of the grass pad and possibly purchasing another one of this plastic tray to double the real estate for him lol I hate trays with grids as they catch onto urine and causes tracing. Perfectly fine that this tray does not have a grid. The 4-way clips is also foolproof to secure the pad and for quick, easy replacement of pads. I highly, highly recommend!!

When I adopted my dog, he was already ten years old, had spent half his life in a hoarding situation and half in a shelter, and had never been trained or housebroken. I was going broke on puppy pads and cleaning up after him constantly. He had a habit of going half-on and half-off the pads, leading to the floor and the bottom of the pad being soaked in pee.A friend said I needed a pee pad holder and I thought- what good will that do? And I kept on papering the floor with pads and still having to clean up pee every day.I finally got this thing as a part of a change in crate setup. He peed in his crate no matter what I did and, while I know conventional dog training wisdom says to get them a smaller, barer crate, that wasn't working for him and I wasn't okay with letting him sit in his pee with no room to escape it. So we went the other way and I got this so that it would stay in place while he walked around on it.It works like a charm. Between this and other housebreaking efforts, he ONLY uses the pad in the holder and otherwise goes outside. I have no idea why, but he does. It takes standard-size pads, the kind available in any store, so it's easy to find replacement pads. It's saved me so much frustration. I don't come home from work and immediately have to bathe a pee-soaked chihuahua. His bed has stayed pee-free. And even when his aim isn't perfect, the holder is easy to clean. I love it. He loves it. Five stars.

I rarely write reviews but felt the need to with this purchase. Within 48 hours of bringing home our 14 week old Shih Tzu puppy, we had her at the vet because she swallowed a corner of the pee pad. As every savvy dog owner knows, this can prove to be deadly. So I knew we had to find something to contain the pads. This holder is our second attempt at controlling our teething dervish's love of chewing everything in sight and we are extremely happy with this purchase. The pee pads come from a local pet store and fit snugly into the holder. They are easily and speedily changed by unsnapping the sides and replacing with a fresh pad. It doesn't smell like one might expect and is easily cleaned with a damp cloth. We move it from room to room depending on where we are hanging out with the puppy. And it protects our hardwood floor from stains. There are rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slippage. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star review is the cover/frame seems a little cheap but it has held up very well for the month that we've had it. If it continues to hold up, then this is definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. Thank your Pawise for a wonderful product!

This is exactly what I needed for my chihuahua mix puppy. She was chewing the edges of the pee pads and even when they were stuck to the floor with the adhesive strips in the corners she would try to drag them around. This completely prevents and has resolved those issues. It's cleaner as well and prevents it from getting on the floor if she urinates too close to the edge. The pee pad holder keeps that from happening. This is one item I will definitely recommend to pet parents.

The product was poorly packaged in the box and arrived damaged. The damage wasn't so bad that I felt the need to send it back (I have a puppy trying to eat potty pads...I have to pick my battles wisely right now). While they hold the potty pads down, they don't hold them flat enough to keep a puppy from being able to work a piece up and start chewing on the potty pad. Between the damage and lack of ability to keep the potty pad down all the way...I can't give it more than three stars. I am sure it works for less feisty puppies and does a great job...just didn't work for us.

He is now 7 months old and trained to pee pads But I don’t like pads just sitting on my carpet. Pads don’t always stay lying flat and they move around. My puppy got the idea instantly! No misses! No assembly either. Easy to wipe down and keep clean.It doesn’t fold or roll up, so perhaps not for travel or storage for occasional use.

This frame securely holds the pad so that our pup can use it, but not access it to shred it when we are gone.

The item I received was absolutely terrible. The puppy pads are used R22 in by 23 in. So it wasn't a case of too small of a pad on this pad holder.My 15 pound puppy was able to shred every mat placed in this holder. One time I watched her do it to see if there was something I was doing wrong and apparently all it takes is her walking across the mat for a corner to slip free of the holder and from there she can pull clear out and Shred the mat in its entirety.So then I would have urine-soaked scraps of fabric and plastic all over the floor of her pen.I've tried multiple pads placements and everything but this just as not grip the pad tightly. Now I'm contemplating whether I can return it to get my money back or if I should just throw it away
