- This vacuum chamber with tempered glass lid is specially designed for stabilizing wood, because wood stabilizing resins and volitile compounds are highly corrosive to polycarbonate and acrylic. Thus the acrylic crystal lid may crack soon in the wood stabilizing operation.
- In order to achieve better sealing, the new batches of vacuum chamber are provided with two rubber seals, if the item you received does not have two rubber seals, please send email to the seller for help.

Vacuum Chamber Lid Difference
- The tempered glass lid is impact-resistant, which is perfet for wood stabilization. And its excellent transparent and large window provides enough visibility for work.
- The vacuum chamber is provided with two rubber seals, one is on the lid, the other is on the chamber edge, which is perfect for better sealing when vacuuming.
Rubber Hose Difference
- Our rubber hose provided is the durable steel rubber hose, which has the larger room for quicker vacuuming and has a longer service time.
- Others in the market is the normal pressure hose, which has the narrower room for slower vacuuming and easy to blow up under vaccuming.

When getting a vacuum chamber like this, the larger the better. Nothing to complain about with this unit. It seals up and functions perfectly. No leaks in the fittings when assembled properly.

We have a few different sizes and brands of vacuum chambers in our classroom. This one from PB Motor Tech, compared to the others, is a well made quality product. The double seal works well. We've had no issues with the gauges, but over time, they do seem to lose pressure through leakage more than others. They still function well. I do like that the chmber is lighter weight than others.

I ordered this to replace a homemade vacuum chamber made out of a pressure cooker that was more of a hassle to use than it was worth. I love the huge size, and the built-in gauge and valves. I mostly use it for degassing resin, and am able to fit a wire shelf in there to utilize all of the space. I really like the tempered glass lid, it feels very sturdy, and makes me less nervous than the acrylic lid I was using with my previous chamber.

I have a few vacuum chambers, but they're pretty space-limited. The biggest one I have (before this, anyway) was 5 gallon.This 9 gallon is a VERY needed and appreciated upgrade to my vacuum chamber arsenal. You can almost fit an entire 5 gallon bucket in here. So, slightly smaller buckets will work GREAT. Previously, the biggest bucket I could use in my 5 gallon vacuum chamber was a 2 gallon. But this has SO much more room.It comes with 2 seals, 1 for the lid and one for the chamber itself. Make sure you get it centered properly. I had no problem pulling a good vacuum on it with my 2-stage pump, and it passed a vacuum stability test as well. This is a huge upgrade for me from my old 5 gallon chamber, at almost 2x the size, and I'm super happy with it. 5 stars.
