All of the retainers were pressed down. In the product picture it shows the clips half way depressed. I have to now fight to remove the clips without the clips breaking off. I doubt I'll be able to remove them all without some breaking. this means I have 10 chances to get the 5 that I need. Woe is me.Update. Removing the retainer weakened the clips. Now they won't stay closed on the cable. Just pulling on the cable as a separation test cause the retainer to open.

First, these connectors do work, but there are issues:1) The compression clip is fully depressed, and you have to get it unclipped to get the cable in.2) There is no strain relief clip included - you can't put "Pro" in you name when you don't include the strain relief clip.
