I use this paddle for SUP surfing. It can handle the current and tough hard paddling to catch some mean waves. Yes this paddle can handle a child forever, BUT, since I use it for SUP surfing, I had to replace the rivets on them with better thicker rivets. Again, that is cause I use it for heavy SUP surfing and with the thicker rivets, the paddle and bar can handle it like a champ. The paddle is super stiff and wont flex when paddling hard! very nice!

If you’re looking to buy this for its look, this is not the product for you. If you want a product that works at a great price, this is for you. The size is perfect for my 7 year old. It’s lightweight which is perfect for him to use. No paint on this product so no issues with paint peeling which makes products look old and cheap. This product is good enough. It does the job.

Decent lightweight kids paddle, very small blade which is perfect for kiddos. Blade can be heated with a heat gun and bent to have a proper sup angle. (A cupped but straight stock paddle like this is not going to paddle well) Also if you drill off the rivets you can cut about 10 in off the paddle... Now it fits our 4-year-old perfectly. I don't think there's another kids paddle out there that can be modified to be this short (45"), and it only weighs 1 lb 5 oz after cutting it down (was 1lb 9oz) Still can extend about 20 in too as she grows.

We hadn’t used this paddle much when the rivets that hold the adjustable piece to the main part of the paddle broke.

My 5 year old wanted to paddle, but our paddles were too long. I got her this, which was still a little too big for her, but is worked.She was brave enough to get on the SUP herself and away she paddled. The next day she used one of our paddles and didn't do as great.I am very pleased at the quality of the paddle. The blade is curved, which likely helps some.I do wish the handle could come apart--it doesn't fit well anywhere. The blade is black, like the handle, so she doesn't realize how deep it is going when she paddlea as it all blends together (my blade is a different color than my handle.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter, she's about 42"s tall and had her extend her arm above her head, it fits perfectly at the lowest setting. This is a good entry level paddle, its basic or economy you could say. Recommended, no issues with it

Good for my nine year old daughter. Allows her to get around on the stand up paddleboard with relative ease. The only thing is that the T grip portion of the paddle does not stay aligned with the blade portion of the paddle when you are adjusting the size. Not a big deal as it does stay aligned when you screw it down to lock it in place. Size adjustments are made by unscrewing a nut and then retightening it with the inner shaft set at the right height. Overall great for the price.
