We needed a replacement space heater to replace one that suddenly quit. Since it would be using in the living room where we watch TV, a unit that operated quietly was preferred. We tried two units from local box stores, but either they had an unstable base for carpet or were too noisy. Since box units in the stores do not list decibel scores, it meant shopping online. This Pelonis unit checked off several boxes: as quiet as 32 Db, swivel base, taller unit, controls on top, 3 fan settings, tip-over and overheating safeguards, and the bonus of a remote.We've been using this regularly for the past few days, and it performs quite well. The highest fan setting is quiet enough that it does not interfere with TV or music sounds. The swiveling mechanism is quiet and moves at a good enough pace to distribute heated air evenly. The ceramic heating element is long enough to create heat for a larger area, and sits high enough in the unit to make it safer to operate. The control buttons on the unit and the remote are simple and easy to navigate. It's a powerful unit, but hours of continuous operation do not cause the cord to overheat, as does with some units.We highly recommend this unit. Yes, there are some units that are quieter, and we considered another on; however, it was $45 more expensive than this one. Pelonis is a brand we've used before and trusted, as well.

Good heat, very quiet!My one complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a way to just turn it "on"- it always has to have a temperature set. This is probably a good thing though so you don't accidentally bake yourself. It has a very wide temperature range option (over 90*F) so it has never been a problem. The temperature does seem to turn off and on fairly accurately as well according to a small digital thermometer that I keep in the same room. I usually set it between 60* F and 74* F. Lightweight and small. Perfect for my small space.

It’s small, so I wouldn’t count on it heating more than a small room. I bought it just to add some heat to my attached garage on very cold winter days. I’m sure it will be fine for that. Just to keep my pipes from freezing. If it’s plugged in, a red light is on at all times. It instructs you to unplug it if not in use. It seems to work just fine. If I had it to do over, I’d buy something larger. Indiana can get pretty cold on occasion. Not used very often, but it’s handy to have available.

I was surprised it could warm a 10 x 12 warm in 10 or 15 minutes; the oscillation is a nice feature as well as the remote. As stated in the header, it is whisper quiet. Worthy of 5 stars

Okay so I have only used for 2 days, so I can’t yet speak of how it affects my energy bill or if it’s going to last a long time. However; What I can tell y’all about is how well it heats my house. I have it in my living room, and it’s open to my kitchen too. So it’s heating a rather large area. It makes no noise. Someone else wrote a review saying that the on off ect is on top of heater and they would rather have it on the side to see what it’s set at from across the room. For me, this is not a problem. The remote control works well and you just aim it and it works. I keep it on a low setting, and basically I have kept it at 70 degrees and if I feel chilly at all, I crank it up a notch or two with the remote. It works so good heating up my room that I have only turned it up one time, otherwise 70 seems to work perfect!! This is the little heater that acts lukewarm a big heater! I have two of the Pelonis fans for summertime and those fans work better than any fans that I have ever used!! They blow like crazy with more blades and a really high setting that saved me the last two Summers’s!! That’s why I chose this brand! GREAT PRODUCTS!!! Buy it! You will not be disappointed.PS. I paid for my fans and heater. I am not someone that gets any kickbacks for leaving a review (I wish I was getting free products).Pelonis makes a great product!!👌

I purchased this on January 22 and used it maybe a handful of times. After two weeks of good function, I put the manufacturer’s packaging in the recycling bin and had faith in the space heater. A few days later, temperatures dropped again and I turned it on to warm up my cold bathroom before a shower. About 30 minutes later, I came in to find it not functioning at all. I thumbed through the manual and could not get it to work again. I submitted for a return to Amazon, but it has to be in the manufacturer’s packaging, so I’m stuck with a cold bathroom and a non functional space heater that I bought less than a month ago.

Love this heater. It's sleek and compact, but heats up a large room quickly. It has an optional swivel feature. It runs quietly. It has an automatic shut off and also turns off immediately when knocked over. I'm quite pleased.

It gives a good and solid stream of heat. It also has a cool-down function - which will help increase the life of the heating element.I've seen YouTube videos that say since all heaters max out at 1500 watts, they all give the same amount of heat. If you get this heater, you will quickly disagree. Heat production and heat delivery are just as important as the amount of heat produced. Which this heater does well. A lot of R&D went into it, not just a heating coil and fan. There's an obvious level of care that went into its design, and the result is a very agreeable amount of heat.
