I'll be honest I was a little bit skeptical because I didn't see any Sprouts but after about 7 or 8 days I started seeing little blades of grass growing in my terrarium! I do have a couple of little bugs terrarium and they're doing perfectly fine I don't think there's anything harmful on the grass. Color is beautiful and for only dollars? It's worth it especially if you're working on a little project like I am. I'd like to add if you are going to put in a terrarium like I did it is safe and there aren't any extra bugs. Some grasses come with flies and different types of bugs but this one's clean!

Absolute garbage. I sowed these seeds in the early fall and after 45 days, still nothing. A see a few sparse blades came up, however it should be at least 10 times that since I overseeded, so I know the rate of germinated seeds is literally only 1% of what I planted. I had more and much better success with seeds I bought at the discount store Ocean State Job Lot for half the price! In one of the pics, you can see a bright green patch - That's the cheap seeds. The bare patch is the "Athletic Field Grass" I'm reviewing here. I planted them at the same time! I also planted some Pennington seeds that also had just as bad germination success. What a joke, lol. Now I can't get money back because Amazon only gave a month return window on these and it has passed. I wonder if it's an Amazon problem. Like the the seeds sold in here are old seeds or something. Either way, save your money and just get the cheap seeds b/c if they don't work,cat least you didn't waste your money.

It could be we're out of "cool" weather. I was using this as a patch for small areas I had dug weeds out of. It didn't really work, but we're out of the cool weather in my area. Perhaps works well when weather is still relatively cool. I wouldn't buy this again. I was hoping to pass on Bermuda grass as it can be invasive, but I think will have to go with it as it will grow and sprout and is pretty drought resistant so less watering.

perfect size to patch a spot my dogs wore out. it grew fast with regular watering. it was nice and green in no time it seemed.
