Great paddle! I love the adjustable length. I've only used it once so far, its sturdy, lightweight and with the adjustable length, I can use it with any kayak. I may spray the blades with a hydrophobic coating to reduce water droplets in/on the kayak in the colder months.

Item arrived with one half of the paddle sightly damaged. Right where I put my hand for use. Was dented, 4" long and about 1/4" deep. Pretty sad, I like the paddle slot, just gonna put up with it, took 20 days to get it.

This paddle is light and easy to handle. Added plus is that it matches my kayak.

A little disappointed to be honest. There is an offset setting where the paddles meet the shaft. Looks very cheap. Also the paint is very thin on the shaft. It does paddle through the water nicely though. Hopefully will last me. Taking the risk…

At first glance this seems like an ok paddle, upon further inspection, part of the handle is ovaled as if it were crushed, but only on one side. Way overpriced for what you get. Not a fan of the click button extension, there is nothing special about this paddle, use the money on a better paddle.

Be careful, if you have a perception Pescador Pilot “DO NOT STORE THE PADDAL ON THE SIDE MOUNT PROVIDEDâ€. It titter totters with the waves and can cause you to capitalize. I lost two fishing rods, a dozen fishing lures and damaged my depth finder. Hopefully the depth finder will work again once it dries. In the future I will separate the paddle and store it in the front bungee area or in the back bungee area. Bad storage design on Perceptions part.
