This variety or bush produces Towering canes that hold colossal berries at the same time of some other blackberries, during the mid summer time. With its super sweet fruit, this berry can be eaten fresh, or cooked down into a jam or jelly. You can even add other fruits such as strawberries, Grapes, the raspberry, or even a fig to create delicious jams of seedless jellies. The Apache blackberry is heat hardy, and may require a trellis to give it a little bit of help standing up. Planting multiple varieties of blackberry bushes next to each other can increase your yield due to cross pollination. This variety of blackberry bush does best outdoors in full sun, and produces fruit on the previous year growth. once fruited, you can cut back those canes to make room for more fruit bearing branches. Was pleasantly surprised how healthy the blackberry bush was when received. It is a nice size plant & shipped in long rectangular box that helped keep plant's shape. There was plenty of moisture in the soil & protected to keep plant moist during shipping. Amazon did good working with this supplier. They definitely know what they're doing and do it well. In the past, I've ordered from other well know. online nurseries, just to receive a small stick-like plant that was way premature to ship, as well as a lack of care for shipping. Not this nursery. They are definitely experienced and will send out a nice size plant, protect and ensure plenty of moisture for shipping. Plant is full of green healthy leaves. Also comes w a bamboo pole if support is needed. My plant is so healthy, I won't even need to use bamboo to support. Amazon did good supplying customers with this nursery. I definitely recommend to anyone and won't hesitate to order more items from them in the future.

I received 4 one gallon well established plants in very good physical condition. With unusually high temperatures they are all growing very fast after I immediately "bumped" them up to 4 gallon size containers and both foliage and time release fertilizers were used. Today I put 4' plant stakes in each pot to twist tie main upright stems to. I am buying 4 more on June 3,2024 and am really happy with Perfect Plants products. I'm 77 and have been a Florida Licenced Nursery since 1973 and have raised thousands of plants and their quality is 6 star so far on all plants I have received from them.

Bought two plants transplanted into larger pot as soon as they arrived. Placed in area in backyard whichReceives at least eight hour of full sun. They did well the 1st 2 weeks flowering and leaves sprouting then just like that they began to die.

I cannot wait for smaller plants to grow. Theses blackberries are a nice size and very healthy. Because the weather is so hot i am acclimatizing them close to my house until the weather cools some. i have inoculated them with mycorrhized and a little liquid fertilizer. Be careful how much mycorrhized you use as my strawberry plants are on their way to the next town with only a few berries. That stuff causes plants to grow like nothing on earth.
