I wanted to share thus with everyone, especially beginners. A good way to get these seeds going is to place then in a wet napkin for a few days and put it in a zip lock bag. Now, most might now that but the pro tip, plant every single one. Even if you see 3 or 4 without roots coming out. Plant them in small holders in the house for a week. And as each one pops up, then transfer outside. I thought I had seeds that weren't going to germinate but they just took longer. I literally had my last one pop up 45 days after my first one popped up. Most germinated in tye napkin but atleast 8 or 9 took their time. I kept then in ny kitchen window and would water them occasionally, not even regularly. When the dirt looked dry I just gave it a little water. And boom, I would wake up with a plant. These have been a lot of fun. I will come back and post photos of my pumpkins in a few weeks. We started early this year. It's mid July and we have 2 small pumpkins growing already. I would suggest to anyone wanting lots of pumpkins to start early too. I have been too late several years. Mid July to early August would be the latest

I bought this product last year and did start to see sprouts super fast, we did start to see pumpkins growing but unfortunately our chickens got a hold of them before we got to see how big they would grow. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I did reorder this year and I am excited to see the end results!

I bought these because I decided I hilariously want to grow a giant pumpkin. I used alfalfa pellets for nutrients because nigrogen grows few pumpkins but makes them huge. After 8 weeks or so I got my first pumpkin. Note my only pumpkin on the plant. It's a few inches bigger than a basketball in 9 days. I'll update everyone. I set up a drip irrigation system to it so it get water 3 times a day. Next year I'll be buying the big northern whatever pumpkin strain. I'm not proofreading. Hope this helpedIn 9 days of growth, it's the side of any supermarket pumpkin. I'm hoping for atleast 100lbs. Id say it's about 50 now.

These little guys love the heat and sun! Most of the growth has occurred during the hottest days this summer. I would not try to grow these in partial sun or even cooler climates.
