I buy these for my invisible fence dog collars and they work the same as name brand except cheaper in price. Did have apparently a bad batch once but we're replaced for free and new ones were fine as usual.

I've had an Invisible Fence for my dogs since 2003. I've had the fencing installed on 5 properties where I've lived. I had been buying the official brand batteries until 2010 and then realized there was a less expensive alternative (this one). So, I tried it and have been happy with it every since.. I have been using this alternative battery for almost 9 years and they last as long and do exactly the same job as the brand battery. My dogs swim (or swam) regularly in their collars and there are no issues.The IF brand batteries are about $22 each and this battery is half the cost. My dogs don't/didn't test the fence too much, but the newer collar uses the battery to flash green when it's fine (and then red if it's dying). I had been on the battery plan from 2003 to 2010, but it was overkill. I would get 4 replacements a year for over $70 and I needed maybe none or one per year. I certainly didn't need 4 per year. I found some value in their plan having multiple dogs (I had 3 at one point) and I'd only sign one dog up for the battery plan and use the batteries to replace all three dog's batteries each year and have a spare (but the batteries typically lasted longer than a year, so I wound up with a surplus or I'd change them unnecessarily before the batteries actually died).. But getting 3 replacements even every year was still more through IF's brand than this alternative brand. My two oldest dogs have since passed away and I just have one dog and only really need one replacement maybe once per year or less. IF charges way too much for an individual battery. And every time I go into their local store it's uncomfortable- they keep trying to upsell me. I only go in there now to buy a new collar every other year because they don't clean well (even with scrubbing) and they stink after time. I also continue to get a fake 'invoice' from IF for a battery plan I haven't had for 9 years. It's written like a bill, but it's just an optional plan-- I don't actually owe them anything, but it's very misleading.MAJOR NOTE: Keep an original Invisible Fence brand battery even if it'd dead. If you have any issues with your dog's collar unit that is not battery-related and you see a technician, the first thing they do is check the battery. If they see you're using any other battery besides Invisible Fence brand, your warranty is invalidated. They will not help you and blame your issues on not using their battery. So just pop in that dead Invisible Fence brand battery before they show up.. Sure, they'll comment the battery is dead, but then have them put in a new one to diagnose the real issues you're having.

This battery worked as intended. Be careful of the dating on the battery wrapping: these batteries do not last beyond ~120 days. Recommend not to buy in quantities beyond what you intend to use immediately since a new unopended battery lasts no longer than a battery in use in a dog collar.
