Custom design lol!IMHO, the design money was spent this way on the well-built and powered motor, strong blade assemblies and hardy well- built, easy to hold containers instead of a lot of fancyspecific on/off buttons, and consequently has kept the price affordable.This has one strong speed only, and yet it does the job thoroughly and quickly.Also included is 1 smaller cup with a different, also easy to screw-on 2nd 2-blade flatter assembly for seed, nut and coffee bean grinding.This feature seems to work good, better, when you fill the cup up as opposed to just putting in a few tablespoons of seeds, nuts or beans.It's a small cup, so you won't have to worry about grinding that much extra if you fill it up.Takes a little more practice than the other smoothie feature to get it right.Pulse the push plate more to get it all started before you put on the rubber band to keep it grinding until satisficed, or not.You may want to experiment first with just holding the plate on manually, pulsing, and watching how it is grinding at first.Then maybe when it really gets going, and after observing, if it seems to be taking more time to get the grind you want, to save you from having to just stand there and hold the button in, you can then put on the rubber band the next time you grind, because you've experimented the first time manually to see how long it will take.But the effort will be worth it. Especially since so many other products that provide this feature are much more expensive.It's worth the extra attention to get it down right here, again, IMHO.I contemplated buying a blender, but after much research and comparison shopping, I chose this because of its well honestly-written specs, its size and price.I only prepare food for myself. Not a lot of counter space in my kitchen.This product is Excellent for these reasons.I received it very promptly after ordering, well-wrapped safely for shipping.I have been using it daily now for a few months, and it continues to hold up to the use without any sign or sound of wear.Excellent product that is proving to actually bring enjoyment, again, IMHO! Had this blender for 3 years and it finally hit the bed. Pretty impressive! I am back to order another one, especially since there is a current coupon to clip. It has made many smoothies for my family and I. My kids enjoy using it- its very simple and always works well. The motor just started to burn out and now its time for another...

It's a good product, the cup recently broke and it won't work unless it facing a certain way but it's been fine up till now. It decent power, big stuff clogs it up and doesn't blend all the way if there isn't enough liquid. It's super easy to use and store though because of its size. It's worth the money, just not the most durable.

This personal blender definitely exceeded my expectations based on the price point. I have only used the blender for daily protein shakes but I am quite happy with the results. It's a solid machine and powerful.Crushes ices with ease and blends ingredients quite well. No mess! Rinse the screw on blade under hot water and air dry and do the same with blending vessel. Haven't tried the chopping blade yet but confident this strong motor can handle it with ease. It's sturdy but with small footprint.Very pleased so far. If you want a simple machine to make your smoothies, this is a no brainer. Buy it.

This little blender has made it possible to eat healthily and is so convenient! We have a healthy smoothie each morning for breakfast (saving us calories and giving us great vitamins and fiber.) We take it with us when we travel - love the two cups and the little cup for grinding nuts (we grind flax seeds for our smoothies.) Powerful for such a tiny thing!

I thought this was great. Super cute, I loved all of the bottles, handles, it was very useful. Unfortunately, 2 months in and it's beginning to smell like burning rubber when I use it. I never overfill, use ample liquid, and don't run it for longer than 1 minute without giving it a break. I make frozen fruit smoothies every morning for breakfast, so I thought this would be a game changer, but it doesn't seem like it's lasting. Additionally, it never seemed to be that powerful, and frequently there would be rather large pieces. Maybe I got a faulty one? I wanted it to be great.

I had to replace my old smoothie blender and so I bought this one. It was cheaper than what stores offered and I was a bit worried. But it works like a dream!! It blends fruit better , add juice and protein powder and boom!!! It’s easy to clean. I can drink straight from the container when I’m done!! Worth the money!

I ordered the black one almost 5 years ago and it just barely gave up the ghost. I was so pleased with it that I ordered another one to replace it. Would highly recommend this product. This new one is even more quiet than the old one.

I like everything about it, runs well, can take a lot of fruit and there are so many extras. Great value, would buy again (hopefully it last for years). Be very careful when locking in cup, don’t force it, gently move it till you hear it click in position, or you could break the little white contacts

Way stronger than I thought it would be for the price range. Cups are a bit tall instead of wide but I'm still able to get everything mixed no matter how much I fill it.
