Bought my first personal barrel based off a recommendation from someone I follow on Instagram. Easy to order and really like how the personalization came out. The only negative is there were no instructions on barrel prep or best practices included with the barrel. Now you can find those online, however, it would be nice to have those included or a QR code or something. Small amount of leaks in one area the first three days which is common as it swells. So I decided to order some sealing wax. It arrived the fourth day the barrel was full of water and actually stopped leaking, but sealed anyways. Put in my Bourbon today and will look forward to testing it out in 30 days. Will probably order a 1 L next, thanks!🧡🤘ðŸ»ðŸ¥ƒ

Well I seen a few reviews that seemed questionable but took a chance and it came early than expected and looks perfect. I cleaned it out and filled it with water and as expected it did leak but just a little so I kept topping it off and after a hour it's down to a slowww drip. Looking forward to filling it with my liquor. The engraving looks great and I'm very happy with it. I'm gonna probably wait to fill it with liquor for a few more days just to be safe. I'm definitely gonna order more. I'm planning on doing an entire wall in my moonshine bar that I built at home.

Complete junk - 5 days later I'm still losing about 2oz of water per day (started with boiling water too)! Shop elsewhere they leak like a seive & they don't have any warranty for their craftsmanship or rather lack thereof. In addition to being a waste of time once you receive it, they'll waste it before you receive it as well - a day or 2 after placing your order they'll create the shipping label but won't ship it for 10 days then blame USPS. These people are shady af, stay away!

love the 2 lt bourbon barrel from Thousand Oaks Barrel Co. came securely wrapped in box with extra nice little cocktail booklets. Communication was speedy as well with the seller. I wholeheartedly recommend this company

Filled with hot water , no leaks so far, great looking well built, should last for many years. Would like to see the lid engraving more customizable, the options they gave still look nice

I purchased this barrel to create a new whiskey. Before putting whiskey in it, I put hot water in it. Small amount of leakage occurred in the front of the barrel. I added whiskey 3 days later and the front and back of the barrel started leaking. Disappointed in this product.
