Bought two puppy girls on Christmas Eve. They had started to use the wee wee pads right away, but would sometimes move them around or miss and pee would be underneath. They started to use the tray within the first few minutes, and haven’t missed yet. This is a life savor!

I found washable pee pads that are the same measurement as the unit. They come in a two pack and hold the liquid better! Just take them out and place in washer and replacement is easy.

This is a great tool. I have a Maltese puppy. I use it in combination with pine pellets that my puppy was trained on (pictured). If you’re transitioning from any sort of litter-type situation, it works as long as you pour the litter in from the top. Otherwise, it won’t close. It’s peculiar to me that the top doesn’t snap in place (with or without litter) leaving it very vulnerable to puppy curiosity. I keep waiting for the time when she figures out how to flip the top. It will be a disaster. If the blue pee pad edges stick out, your puppy WILL try to tear them off, so best to fold under and don’t worry about the minor lack of pad coverage underneath bc you’ll be washing this anyway. As someone else mentioned, I also find it difficult to clean when there is dog poop. It would be nice if it came with a little scrubber tool that fits in the holes. All in all, it’s working while she is not fully vaccinated and also helping as we approach winter.

It helps keep the little one from destroying the pee pad while also keeping their paws clean. I only use this for when my dog has to pee between the other walks for her to poop. This isn’t good for pooping of course due to having to clean the grates. The size is good, build is nice and is worth the money for prevent pee paws.

I bought three of these, and two are perfectly normal. One is warped like so many other reviewers say, and it is the bane of my existence. The top will not stay on, and when my dog tries to stand on it, it wobbles all over the place. Right now, we have it taped and bungee corded, and it looks ridiculous. I wish I would have returned it when I had the chance, and I really don't want to pay $40 for another, because that's a lot for a piece of plastic.Four stars for the normal ones, but dropping to three star rating because of the terrible quality control.

The grid holes are very large. The product is scratched and looks like it has been used. The size is large, and the grid flops on the tray. There are four little rubber discs, but not way to attach them, AND the discs could be a choking hazard.

A must-buy for any puppy owner that uses potty pads. Our pup still hasn't had all of her parvo boosters and has had to stay inside at all times. She is usually very good about going on her potty pads, but has a terrible habit of grabbing the pad and flinging waste everywhere and tearing the pad itself apart. This potty pad holder is PERFECT. It is sturdy and the grated tray fits in neatly. The dog is unable to get to the puppy pad, no matter how hard she bites or paws at the sides. Believe me, I've seen her try. We bought other puppy pad holders that were cheaper, but she was able to rip the puppy pad out of them easily.It is also really easy to clean. The plastic can easily be washed with soap and water or sprayed and wiped with antibacterial spray. The potty pad itself usually soaks up all of the urine, so there is never any worry of overflow.The only critique I have is that the rectangular shape is somewhat a poor design, because most potty pads are square-shaped. This means that the owner has to fold a standard potty pad in order to fit the tray. But this is not a huge problem, as we're still very happy with the product.Overall, it's worth the money, because now I don't have to worry about cleaning a huge mess, disciplining my pup for the behavior, or any health scares from her eating plastic from the potty pads. We loved the first one so much, that we bought a second one.

After purchasing and being dissatisfied with two other doggy pee trays; I can safely say my search is over. This product is awesome, easy to use and very functional. My dog does his business and it's not all over his feet and my house. The smell of feral pee is gone and cleaning up is a breeze... as a matter of fact... I clean way less with this product. I even put baking soda at the bottom of the tray.
